Masterbaution And Psorises
Alpha-test Cubicle Commando and more
On Thursday evening, the first alpha-test rules of our first boardgame, Cubicle Commandoes the game the "war bitchages office. First observation: it promises! The basic dynamic works well, the challenge is to accurately measure gains and rewards. Our first observation is the need to significantly increase the gains on the various board, since the gauges drop very quickly (my character has been put aside temporarily out of play in round 3, the game is expected to last 10 turns.) Recalibration will triple rewards Resources (Money, Power, Prestige) to keep the rapid gains in the game interesting thing: the goal of less than one hour per game is realistic!
Balancing a board game is clearly harder than a RPG, and the number of players requires significant adjustments to the game board and settings. A beautiful experience that will continue over the next few months with my co-designer LP, which we already rises early visual graphic!
Besides with his help I was able to ascertain the cause of bugs on the model of Mecha Exodus, a defective police being involved. Hats off to the Webmaster www.menoum.com for his contribution to the progress of INDIGO SILENCE!
Hopefully, this weekend, posters high resolution color for Erdor Chronicles, directed by Yann Le Guen (aka Karaziel) should be available on the website INDIGO SILENCE!

Senior Vs Intermediate Goalie Pads
calamities have befallen the past week on SILENCE INDIGO: problems of hardware and software with my friend Qosmio and the crash of a model worked extensively (Naskaldïn of Erdor) have caused significant delays.
Nevertheless, for all practical purposes I finished the layout Uchronia: Mecha Exodus a sourcebook-campaign inspired by the Transformers, Robotech, X-Files, Delta Green and The Hunt for Red October. Designed for D20 Modern and drawing on material from OGL Spycraft: World Military in English, the campaign is unusual in a setting: an underwater city populated by robots (mecha) giants hit by a political and religious crisis, mixing espionage, cyberpunk and Gnostic mysticism. It only remains for me only two images to fill the list of credits, table of contents and finally to assemble the blankets. Following the final review! A step boring, but since this is the last, it gives the "boost" to finish a project quickly.
Usually author and "project manager" is my first experience to build a project from A to Z - including the artwork and the preparation of a video animation in 3D a teaser for Youtube. Have chosen to make a color image for almost every page (about 95 pp.) Proved hard work but very informative. I'm pretty nervous about the final outcome, but the baby looks promising!
As new, Mecha Exodus includes: •
a new Archetype (template) to play giant robots convertible based on the rules of OGL D20 Future SRD ;
• a new class to play a saboteur high-tech North Korea;
• a new religion of robot, the Church of Christ in Reconstructed binary, based on the Gnostic heresy and the Gospels of Judas;

• a new scenario opened endless pre-thought (Iterative Model ), based on three scales that measure the impact of free decisions of PJ
• a background expanded for 2017, based on a plausible anticipation of the future: the description of five factions of robots (Neo-Promethean Binary Church, Fifth Column, Phalange and Conservatives), the new Democratic People's Republic of Korea during the reign of the son of Kim Jong Il and the situation of the Organization of paradoxaele Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) against a wave of anti-military hostility in the West;
• two dozen robots or human characters, all illustrated and with personal issues at once poignant and ambiguous.

To diversify the visibility SILENCE INDIGO discover and experience the operation of the English market for a derivative D20 Modern Uchronia: Mecha Exodus will be distributed in PDF via partner sites, but also in paper format via the shop SILENCE INDIGO. I plan to make a black and white version (economic) size and color 6.25 "x9.25", at a price comparable to the U.S. market for a product of 90 pp. of this size. For Europeans, the price will be ridiculous. The book will be available in English only.
deliberately unusual thing for a game based on giant robots, EMU takes a turn somewhat " Narrativist "by providing situations with complex ethical issues without clear solution, and difficult political decisions. The players are both robots, the citizens of New Prometheus vested police powers, and ambassadors from North Korea in a claustrophobic environment (a city underwater) extremely tight, hit by a rising insurgency and the killing of an officer of the Urban Council, apparently "formatted" to death by dissidents who love freedom.
A dozen sub-plots can explore themes about the soul, freedom and Nature of Man in the inspiration of writers who influenced me greatly - including ethics Robotics Isaac Asimov, Philip Dick gnosis, theistic existentialism of Søren Kierkegaard and the controversial Gospel of Judas. These themes recur in the history in the form of practical dilemmas faced by players:
• Robots New Prometheus, who fled the war to peace in the abyss, should they accept the gradual subjugation of North Korea or fight for freedom?
• Peace Must be at the cost of freedom? • The national ideal
should be sacrificed for truth?
• The soul of a robot it is immortal and only if it is possible to duplicate virtual doubles?
• What would they and humans "transhumanisés" programs live in?
• Suffering from a foreign entity entirely justified Does the well-being of the majority?

This week will focus on further developing CUBICLE COMMANDOS, a board game spoof on office life, ideally for a beta-test this fall in partnership with the engineering firm of bubbling graphic Kx3 Communications.

Having some free time this weekend, I started to model some initial 3D models for the peoples of Erdor, here presented without any kind of finish or anything: they are first drafts for the test ... Note that the book is illustrated based CdE2 more traditionally.
Begin at 3 different angles on Takisha, the character Gemish (Soldiers) presented on page 50 of CdE2. The texture is a genuine Lapis Lazuli transformed and softened into "drybrush" with Photoshop and Gaming masks for shadows, with permutations of masks on the texture of Victoria 4 from DAZ. Too bad blogs do not allow higher resolutions! Do not bother watching the anatomical details rascals, little perverse. Takisha is textured like a Barbie (by choice, obviously).
For info, Takisha is also considered as a character from a comic book project underway, with clothes and accessories of course. (Making clothes, texture and fit requires more time than the model itself. The lead is a breeze.) took me considerable time to polish up small ethnic elements - wards, nails, teeth, nose. Besides the crash model this Friday! Not easy to keep a fantastic being sexy in the deforming of many, truffle included; not notice such as the shape of the skull very feline on the facial image. I am especially pleased with the texture experience. Note that the final version will have a 3D image processing less, more "painting". This is a "rough" at very low resolution. is the first image of a woman Gemish color ever made to Erdor, the only other males being seen from behind and the shadow on the cover by Rafael Lopez. The above image is brightened for visibility, thus wasting a bit of color contrast. Marakouk The test is a texture on a model Sixus1 (Kitsune female), who miss the wings of skin. This model is a simple test, especially for the blue face paint (very visible at this resolution). His nose was paid to Takisha.
